El Museo del Gayo

This is a Spanish museum of art by gay artists from around the world. This is a fascinating site and I can heartily recommend it.

A Lover Of Soldiers

This web site had extracts from a fascinating book by Steve Zeeland about sexuality in the armed forces.

gerbil
Harvard Gay and Lesbain Review

I thought it would never happen, but here it is; intelligent gay writing on the Internet. gerbil calls itself a "queer culture zine for lesbians and gays", and is well worth reading. The Harvard Gay and Lesbain Review is a little more conservative, offering a selection of articles from the printed version.

Gay Times

Gay times is the main gay news and features magazine magazine. This site is a little light on content, but includes UK-Out, a list of people out on the web.

Manbase
Gayplace

2 on-line gay magazines. Manbase is an interesting collection of news and resources in 6 European languages. Designed to be viewed at 1024x768 pixels, which may prove frustrating to the majority of user who still use much lower resolutions. Gayplace is American and has a definate US bias, but has a none the less interesting and comprehensive collection of news, features and classifieds.

Rainbow Query
Yahoo - Society and Culture:GLB
Queer Resources Directory

Three of the most useful gay gateway sites. Rainbow Query is the latest and probably one of the most comprehensive gateways to gay web sites. On the whole it is well designed and easy to use. The Queer Resources Directory directory hosts a wide range of resources, many of which are not available elsewhere.

Steve Walker

Steve Walker is a gay artist from Toronto, who produces beautiful photo realistic portraits. This site has many examples of his work, along with information bout Steve and his work.

The site of the gay male body is its history

This site contains one of the few pieces of art I've seen that genuinely makes the Web itself the art medium. It is a collection of images and poetry organised (or disorganised, depending on your point of view) using the concept of a labyrinth. It contains lots of unidentified links that transport you don't a seemingly endless array of paths. Weird, confusing, frustrating, fascinating and brilliant.

Lesbian and Gay Guide to London

A useful guide to London, with a particularly comprehensive section on Soho, with maps. photographs etc.

If you like men of the hirsute variety, then these are the links for you. Dave Hooker, who looks after Bear Quay, has seen fit to put my other homepage (SoHo/8951) in his 5 star section!

Gayfitti

This is a collection of queer quotes covering subject such as coming out, politics and activism, religion and homophobia.

These are assorted home pages that I have come accross while surfing the 'Net. I don't know these people, I just like their home pages! This may be because they're well designed, have interesting content, or I just think the person is cute ;-) Or in some cases all three! (I'll leave you to work out which is which.) I take no responsibility for the content of these pages; visit them at your own risk. (Note: Although most of the people listed here are gay, you certainly shouldn't assume they are just because they are listed here.)

These are the homepages of people I do know.
